Victor Pickard – America’s Battle for Media Democracy

On December 22, 2015, we interviewed Victor Pickard, associate professor in the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.  Victor is the author most recently of America’s Battle for Media Democracy – The Triumph of Corporate Libertarianism and the Future of Media Reform.  We discussed the American media system and the parallels between the advent of radio and that of the internet.
