Hilary Lambert, Executive Director and Steward of the Cayuga Lake Watershed Network, provides an update on the health of the lake. She gives an overview of the recent fall meeting of the network, discusses the algal blooms that occurred on the lake in the late summer, and talks about outbreaks of the invasive plant, hydrilla. Lambert also comments on the possible risks to the lake due to the proposed expansion of the Cargill Lansing salt mine.
