IC students protest choice of speaker to discuss Second Amendment days after mass shooting [AUDIO, Celia Clarke]

Ithaca College students protested the choice and timing of a speaker associated with the militia movement to discuss Second Amendment days after mass shooting. The speaker is identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a an anti-government extremist who was a key figure in the rise of the right-wing militia movement. He was invited by the Ithaca College Republicans to give a talk titled, “Gun Rights are Human Rights.”
