Jack Goldman on his journalism career and history of his longtime used bookstore, The Bookery

The Bookery was a beloved local entity in Ithaca for 45 years, until it closed its doors for good in December 2019. The store’s shelves held many unique or hard-to-find books across a wide variety of fields and genres, thanks to the work of its founder, Jack Goldman. Ahead of the store’s closing, we sat down to look back on Jack’s career as a journalist and used book collector.
