Unofficial Primary Results Are in for Schuyler County

Unofficial primary election results are in for the Schuyler County sheriff race, as well as races for elected town officials in Orange.

These results don’t include absentee ballots, and the official count will likely be completed sometime next week. There’s no clear indication of how many absentee ballots might be coming in. These votes could be decisive, as some of the races show narrow margins.

The results are as follows, provided by the Board of Elections.

 

 

SCHUYLER COUNTY RESULTS

 

Sheriff for Schuyler County (4 year term) - Republican (Vote for 1)

Kevin P. Rumsey  • 57.52% (788 votes)

Breck A. Spaulding • 42.41% (581 votes)

TOWN OF ORANGE RESULTS

 

Town Supervisor (2 year term) - Republican (Vote for 1)

Norma J. Burris • 56.89% (95 votes)

Joanne A. Randall • 42.51% (71 votes)

Highway Superintendent (2 year term) - Republican (Vote for 1)

John R. Rappleye • 82.82% (135 votes)

Jason P. Forcier • 7.36% (12 votes)

Cody A. Morehouse • 5.52% (9 votes)
