IPD Responds to Shots Fired on Floral Ave

ITHACA, NY -- Ithaca police responded to gunshots at Floral Avenue Sunday June 27th around 8:08pm.

The Ithaca Police Department is reporting that officers did not find a victim or evidence of a shooting upon arrival.

Police were notified that a person had gone into the Cayuga Medical Center with a gunshot wound around 8:40pm that night. Officers went to Cayuga Medical Center, but the shooting victim was reportedly not interested in sharing information with the police.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. There is no confirmed suspect information available. The police believe there’s no apparent threat to the public’s safety at this time.
