TOMPKINS COUNTY, NY -- The National Science Foundation (NSF) has selected Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) to join Project Vision.
The initiative aims to support community colleges’ STEM programs and build their capacity so they can apply for the competitive grants that the NSF offers. TC3 faculty will get support from staff from Project Vision in the grant writing process, and also receive administrative support.
Project Vision specifically targets diverse, small, rural colleges, and colleges with newer presidents.
A total of 13 colleges were selected from around the country, including nearby Corning Community College. TC3’s Provost, Paul Reifenheiser thanks outgoing TC3 president, Orinthia Montague, for her work connecting the college with Project Vision.
