Discussing Charter Schools with New Roots Principal

We did a story on a new report by the National Education Policy Center called “The Business of Charter Schooling – Understanding the policies that charter operators use for financial benefit”.  It raised a number of issues about charter schools and we wanted to give our local charter school principal a chance to respond.  I met with Tina Nilsen-Hodges, principal of New Roots Charter School to discuss the business of charter schools and her school in particular.
